Adding Scratch-Work to an Online Assessment
On many of the online assessment quizzes, there is a box to add scratch work below the box for entering the answer for a problem.
When you click on the scratch work box, another large box with numbers and other math symbols automatically pops up.
If you finish a line of scratch work and want to start another one, click the blue arrow.
If you want to use regular text to type something, click the button with the "T" on it, and this will allow you to type text.
You can switch back to the symbols by clicking the button with the Sigma on it (located to the left of the "T"). (N.B. You can only use one or the other per line.)
When you're finished you can just move on to the next question and it will save.
